Definisse Anchorage Threads are monofilament absorbable support threads with a central part mono-directional notches provided at one end with a straight needle for incision and at the other with a semi circular needle with a rounded point.

Anchorage Threads is resorbable and uni-directional toothed wire with a non traumatic straight needle holder attached to one end and a cylindrical need for anchoring at the other end.

For the half face procedure the surgeon makes a thin incision close to the ear and passes the wires along the pre-defined contours towards the line of the cheek and jaw, thus creating a firm hold on the underlying tissues.

The notched wires are hung in umbrella and their tension makes a suspension that gently lifts the sagging tissues of the face.
