5 Point Face Lift
5 -point mini face lift is an anti-aging treatment performed with a dermal filler known as “Profhilo”. Profhilo injections administered in the epidermis on five points of the face using the BAP technique.
5 Point facelift Profhilo is an effective and natural-looking nonsurgical treatment. Profhilo uses Bioremodeling, which is an innovative approach to anti-aging treatments, which acts directly on skin laxity by nourishing the dermal cells and restores firmness of the skin with prolonged duration and tightening effect due to concentration of low molecular and high molecular weight of hyaluronic acid. The low molecular weight has a hydrating and stimulating action on the skin while the high molecular weight works as a dermal scaffold to lift and tighten.
How does Profhilo work?
HA is hydrophilic, meaning it draws and holds water from your body, so Profhilo acts as a hydrator rather than a filler. This makes it fantastic for those with tired, dull-looking skin, transforming it into the firm and luminous skin. This effect takes place within 3-5 days of treatment.
Over the next few weeks, collagen and elastin production is stimulated, producing a secondary effect of skin tightening. This is useful because levels of collagen, elastin, and Hyaluronic Acid in the skin rapidly drop from the age of 30, resulting in signs of aging such as fine lines, wrinkles, and lackluster skin. Profhilo acts to reverse some of these changes. The maximum effect of Profhilo is usually seen 2 months after the second treatment.
After injection Profhilo remains in place for up to 28 days before being safely broken down the body and eliminated. While in place, it hydrates the skin and stimulates four different types of collagen and elastin production resulting in a significant improvement in tissue quality. Overall skin texture and tone are improved resulting in a more radiant complexion. Treatment effects vary depending on the health and the age of the skin. Profhilo and dermal fillers are both made from hyaluronic acid and both help to lift and rejuvenate your skin suitable for the face, neck, and hands. Profhilo is a game changing filler used for anti-ageing.conversation this year.
Who should use Profhilo ?
Profhilo can be effective for people of all ages who are looking to prevent the signs of aging or reverse them. Profhilo is also amazing for adding hydration into the skin and leaving you glowing.
What about Recovery?
The downtime following treatment is minimal, and you should be able to return to normal ‘light’ daily activities immediately after your procedure. However, we recommend that you avoid physical strain and sports on the first day after the treatment, and don’t have a sauna or steamy bath for the first few days. You should also avoid the intense sun or UV light exposure for the first few days after treatment.
Are there any Side-Effects?
As with all non-surgical aesthetic treatments, there is a risk of side-effects, such as minor bruising or swelling at the injection sites. These do not usually occur and generally subside quickly when they do.
Profhilo is not recommended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding or people who are allergic to Hyaluronic Acid.
Profhilo Injection Points
Profhilo has a comprehensive range of injections points with 10 injections administered in total, five on each side of the face. This technique allows up to focus on the hyaluronic acid treatment where the skin appears the most relaxed and aged. By concentrating on a defined volume of Profhilo in the most receptive points allows the treatment to diffuse through the available spaces, creating a natural and lasting and refreshed look. Profhilo is injected into the following areas on both sides of the face:
- Zygomatic Protrusion (cheekbone)
- Nasal Base (in line with the nostril)
- Tragus (in line with the ear lobe)
- Chin
- Mandibular Angle (jawline)
As each face is unique the location of the points may vary very slightly, based on your face’s structure, so ensure the best results possible are achieved. Despite being a full face injectable treatment it is one of the anatomically safest available as it avoids large vessels and nerves.
